Gibson Howard Roberts Fusion (1997)
$1,950.00
The Gibson Howard Roberts Fusion is a true player’s guitar. Named after Howard Roberts, the highest paid Los Angeles studio musician in his day, co-founder of the Guitar Institute of Technology in LA ( now the Musicians Institute), the author of several books of guitar curriculum and an innovative guitar designer, it’s no surprise that his signature guitar sets extremely high standards. The Fusion III is the apogee of a design that began in the 60’s and officially first debuted in 1980. The “fingers” style tailpiece allows the player to raise or lower the break angle at the bridge, giving the player supreme control over each individual string tension. With the ebony fretboard, Gibson 490T (bridge) and 490R (neck) pickups, gold-plated hardware and super deep cutaway, this guitar has all the looks and the ease of play that professionals of a wide range of styles can’t help but dig into. A truly special guitar. Ships free with hard shell case if you’re not local!
